Due to inclement weather, the AWS rehearsal scheduled for Feb. 11 is cancelled. On Tuesday Feb. 18, rehearsal will start at 7 pm for those playing the Serenade for Winds (Strauss) and at 7:30 for everyone else. Since we have missed 2 rehearsals, we are planning a Friday night Feb. 21 rehearsal at a site to be announced.

Furthermore, we pay tribute to the rich heritage of orchestral transcriptions with Entry March of the Boyars by Johan Halvorsen. Master musician Frederick Fennell transcribed and edited this particular arrangement for wind band.
